Maldivian, the national airline of the Maldives, is the Airline Partner for TTM Maldives 2025, the country’s leading international travel trade show, taking place from August 27th to 28th, 2025.
As the leading domestic carrier of the Maldives, Maldivian operates daily flights to 17 airports across the country, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the archipelago for all travellers, catering to the ever-growing tourism sector. The airline also offers competitive seaplane transfers to resorts across the picturesque islands.
Earlier this year, Maldivian launched its first wide-body operations with the arrival of an Airbus A330-200 at Velana International Airport, a milestone in its 25-year history. This marks a significant step in expanding international connectivity and strengthening the Maldives’ tourism sector. With a second wide-body aircraft on the way and plans to expand routes to Europe, South Africa and beyond, Maldivian is poised to enhance the country’s global accessibility and drive continued growth in tourism and the wider economy.
“Our partnership this year as the official Airline Partner reflects our unwavering commitment to supporting a dynamic platform such as TTM Maldives, which connects key international markets with the Maldives. As the national carrier, we take pride in enabling meaningful connections that fuel the growth of our tourism industry,” said Ibrahim Iyas, Managing Director of Island Aviation Services Limited.
As part of TTM Maldives 2025, the TTM Connect Meetings will be held over two days at Barceló Nasandhura Malé, culminating in the TTM Awards & Gala Night on the final day at Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi.
This year’s trade show will feature over 130 resorts and hotels and more than 250 leading travel operators and agents from the top 30 source markets, gathering to build partnerships, negotiate deals, and explore the latest tourism trends shaping the Maldives.
