Crown & Champa Resorts (CCR) has recently hosted Tripjack’s inaugural Familiarization (FAM) trip.
The collaboration highlighted CCR’s extensive portfolio, ranging from four-star resorts to ultra-luxury five-star escapes, offered the perfect canvas to showcase the breadth of Maldivian hospitality.
Travel agents who joined the experience lauded the seamless hospitality and warm Maldivian service across CCR’s properties. One highlight that stood out was the thoughtful inclusion of authentic Indian cuisine, which resonated deeply with the visiting agents and underscored CCR’s commitment to catering to the Indian market. Speaking after the trip, Manish Dua, Tripjack’s newly appointed Chief Growth Officer said “The feedback from our travel partners has been overwhelmingly positive,” he said. “This trip has reinforced our belief that with the right partnerships and a clear strategy, we can elevate the Maldives’ appeal in the Indian market. We are excited about the immense potential that lies ahead.”
This diversity aligned perfectly with Tripjack’s strategy. The participating agents were able to experience the Maldives in its many shades, from barefoot island charm to high-end indulgence, allowing them to better understand how to tailor the destination for India’s varied traveller profiles.
For Tripjack, the success of this inaugural FAM trip is just the beginning. The company plans to roll out a series of targeted initiatives in the Maldives, including more familiarization programs, co- branded campaigns with resorts, and curated packages tailored for India’s fast-growing segments such as family travel, wellness retreats, and destination weddings.
CCR, on its part, has welcomed the collaboration, recognizing India as a key market for future growth. With Tripjack as a partner, CCR’s portfolio of resorts gains a stronger foothold in India’s competitive outbound travel space.
As Dua summed it up: “With trusted partners like Crown & Champa Resorts and the enthusiasm of our travel community, we see limitless opportunities. This is only the start of a much larger journey.”
