A Whimsical Halloween at Sun Siyam Iru Veli

Sun Siyam Iru Veli celebrated Halloween with a twist through its one-day island celebration, Whimsy Over Wicked. Transforming the tradition of fright into a fairytale of fantasy on October 31st, the resort invited guests of all ages to step into a night where imagination ruled. The day’s programme featured themed workshops, entertainment, and enchanting dining experiences that encouraged guests to express creativity and celebrate the joy of make-believe.

At the Turtle Kidz Club, children took part in The Pumpkin Workshop, a full-house activity where they decorated pumpkins with gemstones, bright colours, and playful patterns. As the sun dipped over Fresh Water Beach, the highlight of the day began with a Masquerade Evening filled with music and mystery. Behind their masks, guests embraced the island beats that carried through the golden sunset as they sipped signature cocktails and mocktails. The festivities continued at Turtle Beach with a Beach BBQ Dinner, featuring a Halloween-inspired menu served in a storybook setting, complete with live music and seaside charm.

The night drew to a close with a private Cinema Under the Stars screening where an open-air experience perfectly captured the Halloween spirit.
