Air India has announced its plans to introduce non-stop flight services connecting Bangalore and Mumbai with the Maldives. This marks a resumption of Air India’s previous practice of offering direct flights to the Maldives solely during the winter season, while these services remained suspended during other times of the year.
Commencing from October 30th, Air India’s direct flights will link the bustling cities of Bangalore and Mumbai to Male, the capital of the Maldives. This development enhances the connectivity options for travelers seeking direct routes between these Indian cities and the Maldives. Presently, airlines such as IndiGo, Maldivian, and Vistara facilitate direct flights between various Indian locations and the Maldives.
Maldives’ national airline, Maldivian, is set to enhance this aerial bridge by also introducing direct flights between Male and Bangalore starting in October.
