Hannes’ journey in the hospitality industry spans across Southeast Asia, Africa, and Europe, providing him with a deep understanding of diverse cultures and luxury hospitality. His career has taken him from Oman’s Zighy Bay, where he spent three years refining his expertise, to Austria and Germany, where he further honed his leadership skills. Most recently, he spent two and a half years in Konstanz, Southern Germany, before joining Ananea Diamonds Athuruga.
Since arriving at the resort, Hannes has embraced the beauty and vibrancy of the island, working closely with the Team to ensure that guest experiences exceed expectations. His vision is to elevate Ananea Diamonds Athuruga as a premier destination that seamlessly integrates sustainability and luxury. Passionate about environmental stewardship, he is focused on reducing waste, conserving energy, sourcing locally, and developing eco-friendly initiatives that align with the resort’s pristine natural surroundings.
