The highly celebrated Gourmet Week is expected to make its return to the Maldives this August, starring Michelin Star Chef Andrea Berton and his gourmet creations, which combines tradition and innovation. The special event will be hosted at You & Me Maldives in Raa Atoll and at the sister resort in Lhaviyani Atoll, Cocoon Maldives.
Celebrating Italian and International cuisine, the two resorts will offer 6 exclusive gourmet events by Chef Andrea Berton to their lucky guests. Berton’s talent and experience will reach the Maldives with 3 unmissable appointments at Cocoon Maldives on 8-10 August 2019 and You & Me Maldives on 13-15 August 2019.
During Gourmet Week, gastronomic tastings and gala dinners will also be hosted to showcase Berton’s talent and culinary experience.
Winning four Michelin stars across three restaurants throughout a twenty-seven-year career, Andrea is one of Milan’s most decorated chefs. He is a role model for cooks across Italy thanks to his beautiful food, dedication to good ingredients and fierce work ethic. Andreas has worked at some of the country’s best restaurants and opened several of his own including Ristorante Berton, Pisacco Ristorante e Bar and DRY Cocktail & Pizza.
