Avani+ Fares Maldives has appointed Nabeeh Abdulla as the resort’s new Assistant Director of Sales. With over seven years of experience in the hospitality industry, Nabeeh brings a wealth of expertise in sales strategy, market development, and team leadership to his new role.
Nabeeh began his journey in the industry in 2017 as a Sales & Marketing Intern at the Anantara South Malé Atoll cluster, which includes Anantara Dhigu, Anantara Veli, and Naladhu Private Island Maldives.
Over the years, he steadily progressed through various roles within the Sales & Marketing department, gaining a comprehensive understanding of content management, social media, sales administration, and group business development.
Prior to joining Avani+ Fares Maldives, Nabeeh held the position Senior Sales Manager at the Anantara South Malé Atoll cluster, where he led the property-based sales team and managed a diverse portfolio of key source markets including Italy, Spain, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Russia. In this role, he played a vital part in shaping and executing region-specific sales strategies, driving market growth, and strengthening relationships with key partners and clients. His leadership was instrumental in optimising team performance and enhancing sales outreach, ultimately contributing to significant revenue growth across the resort cluster. Reporting directly to the Director of Sales & Marketing, Nabeeh worked closely with senior management to align sales efforts with broader business goals, ensuring consistent market presence and brand positioning across his assigned markets.
After a successful tenure at Anantara Dhigu, Anantara Veli, and Naladhu Private Island, Nabeeh Abdulla has embraced a new chapter in his career as Assistant Director of Sales at Avani+ Fares Maldives, part of the Minor Hotels portfolio. As one of the youngest Maldivians to take on such a leadership role, his appointment reflects both his dedication to the industry and his impressive career growth. In this new role, he is responsible for leading the on-property sales team and driving wholesale business development across key markets.
With his extensive experience in sales and market development, he is set to enhance the resort’s presence in key international markets and drive its continued growth within the Minor Hotels portfolio.
