Beond, the world’s first premium leisure airline, marked a momentous occasion with its successful inaugural flights into the tropical paradise of Maldives from key international hubs – Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich.
Guests were treated to an unparalleled experience of opulence and comfort as they embarked on their journey, seamlessly combining the airline’s private jet-like experience with the breathtaking beauty of the Maldivian archipelago.
Taskila added, “We express our gratitude to the Maldives government and our supporters, the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority and SIMDI Group, for their unwavering conviction in our vision to establish a new airline in the Maldives.
“Our first flights into Maldives from Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich exemplify our commitment to delivering the highest standards of premium luxury travel,” said Tero Taskila, CEO and Chairman of Beond. “We take pride in providing our guests with an exquisite journey that begins when they step on board.”
From the heart of the Arabian Peninsula to the cultural hub of Germany and the financial centre of Switzerland, Beond now connects these influential cities directly to the idyllic Maldives, offering travellers an escape to paradise.
As Beond spreads its wings to new horizons, the airline remains dedicated to offering a premium travel experience that transcends expectations. The success of the inaugural flights into Maldives from Riyadh, Munich, and Zurich underscores Beond’s vision to be a leader in luxury aviation.
Service from Dubai and Milan begins in Spring 2024. Tickets can be booked via their website, www.flybeond.com.
Beond’s first aircraft was an Airbus A319, seating 44 passengers in a luxurious all-lay-flat configuration. The airline will bring passengers from Europe, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific to Maldives.
