The festive season at Ananea Diamonds Athuruga in the Maldives was marked by togetherness, tradition, and carefully curated island experiences.
Celebrating the spirit of giving, to oneself, to others, and to nature, the island came alive with moments of joy, reflection, and connection.

Festivities began with a magical Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on the beach, followed by the arrival of Santa Claus, creating cherished memories for guests of all ages. On Christmas Eve, guests shared family traditions through an interactive festive recipe wall before enjoying a dinner under the stars and a lively beach party beneath the Maldivian sky.
Daily themed experiences throughout the season encouraged engagement with wellness, culture, marine conservation, and island life, including yoga and mindfulness sessions, reef clean-ups, marine workshops, and Maldivian cultural evenings.
A culinary highlight was the Jeunes Restaurateurs Gala Dinner with Michelin-starred Chef Luca Bazzano of Ristorante Quintilio, who presented a refined menu inspired by Liguria and Piedmont, blending tradition with modern creativity.

The year ended with an elegant New Year’s Eve celebration featuring cocktails on the beach, a festive garden dinner, and a joyful countdown party welcoming the year ahead.
At Ananea Diamonds Athuruga, the festive season offered more than celebration — it was a thoughtfully curated journey of connection, culture, and barefoot luxury, leaving guests with lasting memories.
