Fushifaru Maldives Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026 with “Waves of Kindness – #GivetoGain”

Fushifaru Maldives celebrated International Women’s Day 2026 at the resort under the theme “Waves of Kindness – #GivetoGain,” bringing together residents and guests for a series of meaningful and engaging activities.

The celebrations began on 7 March with a live painting session at Fanihandhi Bar, hosted by artist Rachel Brooks against a stunning sunset backdrop. Inspired by the vibrant marine life surrounding the island, Rachel created a captivating artwork while guests and team members enjoyed the artistic experience by the beach.

One of the resort’s loyal guests, who visits Fushifaru Maldives annually to mark International Women’s Day, joined the celebrations, adding a special significance to the occasion.

On 8 March, festivities continued with a Women’s Day Cocktail Party, where guests and residents gathered in a warm and joyful atmosphere. As part of the tradition, the gentlemen on the island presented flowers to all women, creating a memorable and thoughtful moment.

The celebration concluded with a lively Disco Night, featuring a spectacular LED show by Anastasia, bringing energy and colour to the event and providing a vibrant finale to the International Women’s Day festivities.
