Ibrahim Iyas has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Island Aviation Services Limited (IASL), marking a significant milestone in his longstanding career with the company.
Iyas, who previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO), brings over 15 years of dedicated service and invaluable experience to his new role.
Established in 2000, Island Aviation Services Limited is a government-owned entity headquartered in the capital city of Male’, Maldives. The company operates under the brand name Maldivian and serves as the national airline of the country. Specializing in inter-island services within the Maldives, Maldivian also extends its operations internationally, connecting to destinations such as India, Bangladesh, Thailand, and China.
