Currently, the Maldives welcomes an average of 5,631 tourists daily. If this trend continues, it’s projected that about 800,000 more tourists will visit in the remaining four and a half months of the year. Comparatively, the 1.1 million tourist arrivals this year already indicate a growth of 13.8% compared to the same period last year, representing an extra 141,608 visitors. On average, tourists now spend 7.7 days in the Maldives, showing improvement from the previous year.

Currently, the top five source markets for tourist arrivals are Russia, India, China, UK, and Germany.
