Maldives’ first integrated tourism destination, Crossroads Maldives opens

The Maldives first integrated tourist destination in the Maldives, Crossroad Maldives’ first phase has opened.

Crossroads Maldives project is developed and owned by Thailand’s leading developer, Singha Estate. Spanning over nine islands in the Emboodhoo Lagoon, the first phase of the project debuted two resorts properties and the Marina @ Crossroads, Maldives – an 800-metre lifestyle area which features the largest variety of experiences including fashion and accessories, entertainment and extraordinary events as well as dining outlets.

The Marina @ Crossroads, Maldives caters a vibrant and dynamic dining experience to the Maldives with an expansive selection for both local and foreign visitors alike. Along with local restaurants which will showcase authentic Maldives cuisine, The Marina @ Crossroads will house a number of world-famous restaurants serving international dishes from Hard Rock Cafe’ Maldives, Ministry of Crab and Nihonbashi, to name a few.

The first phase of the Crossroads Maldives project also features two lifestyle hotels, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and SAii Lagoon Maldives which have direct access to the extensive facilities at the Marina @ Crossroads including the Marina Discovery Centre, the Koimala & Maalimi’s junior beach club & camp, a 30-berth marina and the Crossroads Event Hall.

The opening of SAii Lagoon Maldives also marks the debut of Curio Collection by Hilton in South East Asia and the fifth Curio Collection by Hilton property in the Asia Pacific. With a total of 198 rooms and villas, the resort will be Hilton’s third property in the Maldives, making the global hospitality company the largest and longest-running international hotel operator in the Maldives.

Meanwhile, Hard Rock Hotel is the first outpost of the world-famous hotel brand, Hard Rock International. Featuring 178 spacious rooms include family suites, beach villas, overwater villas and overwater pool villas, the resort offers a memorable music-inspired stay and offers a full range of signature experiences and facilities for all ages including Hard Rock Cafe®, Body Rock® fitness centre, Rock Spa®, Rock Shop® and Hard Rock Roxity Kids Clubᵀᴹ.

A dedicated mobile application was also launched, allowing guests to plan and manage their trips with ease. With easy access to the facilities and services available in the five main areas for leisure and activities on the island — Dining, Shopping, Events, Exploration and Rooms — guests can explore and modify their experience as they wish.
