Maldives achieves another milestone since border re-opening with a new record of daily tourist arrivals. Over 2000 tourist arrivals were marked today.
Minister of Tourism, Abdulla Mausoom congratulated the tourism industry along with the related authorities on Twitter for the remarkable milestone.
Maldives witnessed a decline in tourist arrivals due to the global pandemic which hit the country in early March. However, with the cases decreasing daily, the island nation has seen a flourish of arrivals, especially from Italy and India Several measures are continuously being implemented to ensure the safety of the community as well as the guests who visit Maldives.
