Condé Nast Traveler, has announced the results of its annual Readers’ Choice Awards; The World’s Best Hotels, Resorts, Countries, Cities, Islands, Spas, Trains, Airlines, Airports and Cruises Ranked by Travelers This year, resorts located in Maldives dominated the Top 30 Resorts in The Indian Ocean, filling up a grand total of 26 slots. The Nautilus Maldives was ranked at the top, followed by Naladhu Private Island Maldives in 2nd place, and The Oberoi in Mauritius at 3rd place.
Following LUX* North Male’ Atoll in 4th place, Soneva Jani was ranked 5th. The 6th through 10th places were awarded to Joali Maldives, Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort, Taj Exotica Resort & Spa and One&Only Reethi Rah respectively. In addition, Hard Rock Hotel Maldives was placed in the 23rd place whereas LUX* South Ari Atoll Resort & Villas in the Maldives was awarded the 29th place.
Further to this, The Nautilus Maldives was placed at 3rd place whereas Naladhu Private Island Maldives was placed at 5th place in The Best Resorts in the World category.

More than 715,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers submitted an incredible number of responses rating their travel experiences across the globe. The winners were selected by readers through an online survey during a voting period, April 1, 2020 – June 30, 2020.
