Maldivian To Add New Routes to Indian Destinations

Due to coronavirus, Maldivian has canceled all direct flights from China and to cover the losses of this decision Maldivian has announced new routes to different destinations in India.

Managing director of Maldivian highlighted that their main Airbus operations are mainly targeted to China and the cancellation of China flights has caused them a huge loss. Thus, they have been looking for opportunities to cover the losses.

He also stated that they have decided to fly to different destinations in India but the destinations have not been finalized yet.

Maldivian was flying to four destinations in China and brings around 1000 passengers each week before the cancellation.
