Maldivian is set to expand its network with the introduction of direct flights to Colombo, Sri Lanka, starting on April 25th, 2024. This new route offers travellers a convenient way to experience the cultural richness and history of Sri Lanka beyond the beaches of the Maldives.

Maldivian will operate flights to Colombo twice a week, departing on Thursdays and Saturdays. Introductory fares are available (terms and conditions apply), and all flights include a generous 30kg baggage allowance and a complimentary meal.
Maldivian provides a comfortable travel experience with multilingual staff fluent in Dhivehi, English, and other languages. Flights are timed for convenient weekend travel. In the future, the airline plans to offer seamless connections and through-fares between its Maldives domestic routes and Colombo.
