MATATO Promotes Maldives in Russia and Malaysia

Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO) advertised the Maldives in Russia and Malaysia.

MATATO has participated international two fairs, OTDYKH LEISURE in Russia and PATA Travel Market (PTM) which took place in Malaysia.

OTDYKH LEISURE fair was held on September 10 to 13 which was specially targeted for Commonwealth of Independent States. 900 exhibitors have participated from 85 countries.

Russia has been recorded the 11th most nation that people used to visit for abroad. The Russian tourist spent abroad is normally at MVR 24 billion. MATATO participated the same fair in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

The PTM fair which took place on September 12 to 14 is a fair that connects tourism businesses in one place.

From MATATO 150 member has participated in 12 different international tourism fairs.
