Mohamed Bassam Adam has been appointed Deputy Managing Director of the Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC).

His educational foundation includes an Advanced Diploma in Tourism Management. Bassam’s influence within the sector extends through various capacities, notably as a Board Member of the Maldives Association of Travel Agents and Tour Operators (MATATO), where he has actively shaped industry policies and advocated for the interests of travel agents and tour operators.
Bassam’s strategic consultancy services have been instrumental in enhancing the operations and market presence of numerous successful travel companies, both locally and internationally. His role as a representative for esteemed publications like Asian Diver Magazine and Petit Futé has positioned the Maldives as a premier diving and travel destination.
