Over 70% Travel Trade Professionals Thinks Maldives Should Skip ITB 2020

With regard to the ongoing epidemic, TTM team decided to conduct a survey about the Maldives participation at the ITB 2020.

As per the survey result, over 70% of travel trade professionals in Maldives have agreed that Maldives should skip the participation for ITB 2020.

In addition to this, 50% of this group also thinks that the recently held BIT fair was the reason for Covid-19 spread in Italy.

Europe is on alert as four more Covid-19 deaths reported in Italy.

MMPRC had a meeting today to discuss with the partners and assured that any decision will be made based on their opinion as well.
