In celebration of the 54th Independence Day of Maldives, Paradise Island Resort in collaboration with Chefs Guild of Maldives (CGM) hosted an ultimate gourmet experience at Farumathi Restaurant on July 26th.
The dinner showcased the culinary delights and creations from the country’s top chefs including Chef Fatheen, Chef Nathif, Chef Mazin, Chef Adil, Chef Ibrahim Naeem and Chef Riffath.
The menu featured a fusion of western and Chinese cuisine such as Taro honeycomb chicken dumpling and fruit salsa, sous vide wagyu beef and wok tossed shimeji.
Chefs Guild of Maldives (CGM) is an association which aims to improve and oversee the practice of culinary artisans in the Maldives by providing opportunities to expand their knowledge through culinary events, competitions and more.
Currently, CGM is preparing for the upcoming Chinese Cuisine World Championship 2019 (CCWC) which is set to be held in late August. This authoritative competition is the only international-level competition for Chinese cuisine certified by the World’s Association of Chefs’ Societies.
