President of Expedia’s Business Travel Unit Egencia Steps Down

Longtime Egencia president Rob Greyber has stepped down, the company said. Ariane Gorin, president of Expedia Business Services, has assumed direct leadership of Egencia.

Greyber assumed the role of Egencia president in May 2009, after serving for two years as the company’s senior vice president for North America. He originally joined Egencia parent company Expedia in May 2004 as vice president of its partner services group, responsible for airline relationships in North America.

Gorin has led EBS since the launch of the umbrella group—which includes Egencia and Expedia Partner Solutions—in late 2019. With Greyber’s departure, she now will directly oversee Egencia. Gorin joined Expedia in 2013 as vice president of market management for EMEA.

The news of Greyber’s departure was delivered in a notice to Egencia clients regarding the company’s response to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
