While counting down to the festive days, December 22, 2021, marked the anniversary of Reethi Faru Resort. The boutique property made a remarkable milestone in 2021 with world recognition for its efforts and dedication towards sustainable tourism.
With the lead of recently appointed General Manager, Mr Peter Gremes, Reethi Faru is the World Luxury Awards Winner of Luxury Eco/Green Hotel in the Indian Ocean continent, third-time winner of World Travel Awards as Indian Ocean’s Leading Green Resort 2021 and first time winning Best Hotel Spa Award of 2022 Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence perfectly concluding the year for them.
The resort, which opened on December 22, 2017, is proud to celebrate 4 successful years of providing exemplary guest services. The celebration took place with a gleeful anniversary cake cutting with guests, welcoming them to participate in this memorable and joyous day.
A team gathering was hosted the day before, with the management appreciating the team members efforts as the backbone of the resort’s prosperity. As 2022 approaches, Reethi Faru Resort aims to evolve and enhance its facilities and services.
Cast adrift in Raa Atoll, Reethi Faru is a wonderfully secluded bio-luxury island retreat where it’s all about letting the natural beauty do the talking. This breath-taking tropical island paradise measuring just six hundred by three hundred, and fifty metres provides guests with great daytime activities such as water sports activities and excursions through their well-equipped water sports centre. Guests can also choose to unwind within the rejuvenating spa cosily hidden away amongst Coconut trees or explore below the Indian Ocean horizon with the 5-star PADI and SSI dive school.
The resort management expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all patrons, members, and partners. ”To operate in a stunning surrounding such as Maldives is a big privilege for us at Reethi Faru and we are proud to be able to offer the experience to guests from all over the world. Thereby, combining luxury and sustainability has always been a goal of ours, and the positive feedback, the garnered accolades and the growing number of repeat visitors show that we are on the right track. Now with the motivated backing of the entire team we hope that we can celebrate many more successful years and resort anniversaries.” said Peter Gremes, General Manager.
