Orca Media Group has announced that registration is now open for Local Island Tourism Magazine 2022, eighth edition. All registered guesthouses, hotels, homestays, dive centers, excursion service providers & wellness centers in the local islands of Maldives will be featured in the magazine for free of charge.
Local Island Tourism magazine, previously Guesthouses Maldives, is the longest-serving print magazine in the Maldives focusing entirely on the local island tourism sector in the Maldives which was first published in 2015.
The magazine is published annually, with the aim to be an informative and comprehensive guide to local island tourism in the Maldives. The magazine has been recognized by the Ministry of Tourism and Maldives Marketing and Public relations Corporation (MMPRC), and it has been used to promote local island tourism in the travel trade fairs hosted by MMPRC.
Currently, there are over 600 registered guesthouses in the Maldives.

Eighth edition of Local Tourism Magazine is set to be published in October this year.
