Rosewood Hotels Virgin Gorda Resort Appoints New HR Head Rizan Afeef

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Rizan Afeef as the new Director of Human Resources at Little Dix Bay, British Virgin Islands.

Rizan has a strong track record in human resources with 16 years of experience across several blue-chip hospitality brands, all with a particular focus in shaping the culture of the business, organization design, team development, and talent management.

Most recently, Rizan served as the Director of Human Resources & Training at Six Senses Laamu, Maldives. He has previously held key positions with major leading premium brands such as Anantara Hotels Maldives, Minor Hotel Group Malaysia, Velaa Private Island, Four Seasons, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Moreover, Rizan is a certified PADI open water and enriched air diver. He was awarded the “Asia’s Most Innovative Hospitality Leaders” award by World HRD Congress and “Most Talented HR Leaders 2017” by HR Maldives in 2018.

Rizan commented on his new position: “I am passionate about working with teams to both help elevate the brand in the eyes of its guests but also the wider community. Rizan’s tenure with Rosewood Hotels Virgin Gorda has begun in March 2019.
