Living up to its name as a barefoot chic island playground, Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives set the whole island on a playful mood for its management and staff, also known as Finolhu Islanders.
As the resort gears up for festive season, the Finolhu Islanders gathered for their annual Finolhu Heat on 15 – 17 November 2022. Four Teams referred to as “Houses” were created, representing the resort’s brand essence – Island Playground, Indulgence, Unwinding and Barefoot Chic.
The opening ceremony started with a welcome speech by the General Manager, Marc Reader followed by the customary lighting of the torch by the Finolhu House representatives. Reader highlighted the importance of teamwork and camaraderie in the organisation. He also mentioned that activities as such are very essential for the employees, whom he called “the heart and soul” of Finolhu Baa Atoll, to stay fit, happy and healthy.
Finolhu Heat 2022 included different games such as Fun Challenge, Ball Throwing, Beach Volley, Futsal, Cricket, Tug of War, Swimming, and Badminton.
While all the Houses competed with their best teams, Island Playground emerged as the overall champion. The three-day competition was filled with friendly competitiveness, fun, and laughter.
