Srilankan Airline has announced its plan to resume direct flight operations from Colombo to Addu City starting from December. Direct flights are scheduled to resume between Colombo and Gan starting from 4th December. According to Ace Aviation, Srilankan Airlines general sales agent in the Maldives, flights will be scheduled once per week on Saturdays.
Srilankan Airline has been operating direct flights to Gan since December 2016. However, the operations were ceased due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. Earlier in August, Srilankan Airline operated chartered flights between Colombo and Gan.
As per Ace Aviation, flight tickets for return tickets will be charged USD 271 for Maldivians meanwhile, tourists will be charged USD 284.
These flights are scheduled to depart from Colombo at 10:40 every Saturday morning and land at Gan at 12:05 in the afternoon.
