The Executive Committee of the newly formed Maldives Association of Souvenir Shops has met with Tourism Minister Abdulla Mausoom and the Ministry team on Thursday.
The discussion focused on paving way for better opportunities for the souvenir business community, as well as enhancing local souvenir production.

Souvenir businesses have become a significant aspect of the the Maldivian tourism industry over the years. The Maldives Association of Souvenir Shops was formed with the aim of safeguarding the interests of businesses involved in this sub-sector.
