Brennia Kottefaru has announced the appointment of Chef Yurii Kovryzhenko as its new Executive Chef, effective October 2023. Chef Yurii Kovryzhenko, a distinguished figure in the culinary world, brings his exceptional talent and expertise to the resort.
A culinary virtuoso, Chef Yurii was educated at Europe’s finest culinary schools, including Ecole Ritz Escoffier, Le Cordon Bleu, and Ecole Gregoire-Ferrandi in Paris, among others. His culinary journey has been adorned with numerous accolades, including the prestigious Global Chef Award in 2017, Ambassador of Taste for Global Gastronomy in 2021 and 2022, and the Gold Medal for Best of Gastronomy in 2021. He is also a proud member of Disciples Escoffier International.
Chef Yurii’s culinary prowess has been recognized by the Michelin Guide from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, he serves as an ambassador for Ukrainian cuisine and has successfully opened three Ukrainian restaurants abroad.
