Aerial Hammock
The aerial hammock, also known as a sling, is a fabric-based apparatus featuring a loop at the bottom. Guests can learn a variety of upright and inverted moves, including the backstar, gazelle, arch, and splits away. In addition to dynamic movements, the hammock provides excellent opportunities for stretching the back and shoulders, enhancing flexibility and relaxation.
Aerial Silks
Aerial silks are a fabric-based apparatus similar to the hammock but offer a greater challenge for beginners. Once basic skills are mastered on other apparatus, guests can progress to learning various climbing techniques and footlock positions, enhancing strength, flexibility, and control.
Aerial Hoop
Aerial hoop, also known as lyra, is a suspended metal ring used for both static and dynamic acrobatic poses. Guests can learn various mounts and poses, including Man in the Moon, Mermaid, and Splits, enhancing strength, balance, and fluidity in movement.
Static Trapeze
Static trapeze is a bar-based apparatus suspended by ropes, allowing for a variety of movements both above and below the bar. Guests can learn standing and sitting poses, developing balance, strength, and coordination.
Jiu-Jitsu
The Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu class at The Red Mat is open to all skill levels, including beginners, intermediates, kids, and ladies. Complimentary use of Gi is provided, along with free daily laundry service for those bringing their own. While no belt certification is offered, The Red Mat is proudly affiliated with Checkmat, an international Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu association and team founded in 2008 by Leo Vieira, headquartered in Long Beach, California, USA
