SeasonalFrom December to April, the northeast monsoon generally brings calmer waters and underwater visibility that can reach around 100 metres. From May to November, southwest-monsoon plankton blooms attract manta rays and whale sharks, making this the defining season for Hanifaru Bay encounters.
