Aeroflot has confirmed plans to increase the frequency of flights to the Maldives.
The airline will increase flights SU320/321 to Malé, the capital of Maldives, from the current schedule of four per week to seven per week, effective 1 October 2023.
Three additional flights, SU324/SU325, are scheduled to take off on 1 November 2023 and will be operated on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, giving the Russian carrier a total of ten flights per week to what is traditionally one of the most popular holiday destinations in Aeroflot’s flight programme.
Among the key contributors driving surge in tourism, Russia stands as the foremost leader, with an impressive 131,987 tourists arriving in the Maldives. As of August 7th, Russia has a market share of 11.8%.
