Awesome Maldives is collaborating with Cruise Tour Mongolia (a tour operator from Mongolia) to operate direct charter flights from Mongolia to the Maldives. This collaboration is part of the efforts to boost the Maldivian tourism industry post the COVID-19 pandemic.
Back-to-back flights will be operated from 27 December 2021 onwards until 31 March 2022 every 6 nights and the flight capacity is 150 people.
The first flight from Mongolia will arrive on 23 November 2021 and the purpose of this flight is to promote the Maldives to Mongolia. Guests arriving from the flight will be from the Mongolian travel industry including tour operators, travel bloggers, magazines, and the media.
Additionally, a special package for Maldivians from 23 – 29 November 2021 was announced. For USD 1,590 per person on a double sharing basis for 5 nights, 6 days, you can explore Mongolia this winter. This package also includes return airfare, visa fee, and accommodation on a full board basis. All Maldivians are welcome to travel throughout the charter flights as well.
