Cora Cora Maldives Presents a Festive Extravaganza Through the Roaring 20s and Rocking 80s

It’s Freedom Time with the long-awaited Festive Programme for 2023-2024 at Cora Cora Maldives, an immersion in not one but two decades of festivities at this Premium All-Inclusive five-star resort. The “Roaring 20s” decade fun starts on December 20th with the annual Christmas tree lighting, accompanied by fantastic cocktails, and continues over the Christmas period with a Market Night, where guests can stroll through different market stalls offering mouth-watering dishes. For a wonderful family-focused Christmas Day, guests can meet the man of the hour (Santa Claus) with his bag full of presents and enjoy the famous Fisherman’s Catch BBQ Dinner on Boxing Day, a flavour sensation of freshly caught fish and seafood, barbecued meat and live music.

From December 29th to January 7th, Cora Cora Maldives transforms into an 80s-lover dream as it celebrates the decade of boldness with statement hair, make-up, and iconic clothing.  The action-packed program continues with an 80s twist, including screenings of Home Alone and Back to The Future, an Orthodox Christmas Dinner and Lunch in early January, and Festive Cocktails accompanied by classic 80s tunes.

On December 29th and 30th, Chef Chet Sharma, from the multi-award-winning BiBi Restaurant in London’s Mayfair, will bring a taste of India to the Maldives. Guests can savour his innovative cooking techniques at the CCM X BiBi Restaurant Masterclass, enjoy juicy beef and flavoursome fish at the General Manager’s Braai featuring Chef Chetan, and revel in the CCM X BiBi Restaurant Featured Set Menu for an unforgettable gastronomic adventure.

Say goodbye to 2023 in true rock ‘n’ roll 80s style with a Rocking New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner featuring a lavish buffet, live cooking stations, and 80s music played by the G-Side Collection and the Light Mirror Show – don’t forget the legwarmers! As the clock strikes midnight, The Midnight Disco begins with tunes from DJ Carol Fernandez.
