Countdown for Opening: The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands to Unveil Sangu Stories on Clubhouse Tonight!

As part of the much anticipated opening on June 1, 2021, The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, will be unveiling Sangu stories on the social media app Clubhouse tonight, Wednesday May 27th, 6 pm (Malé time).

The first Clubhouse session by The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands will be with guests Jacqui Gifford, Editor-in-Chief, Travel + Leisure (US magazine), and Donna McNamara, Vice President & Global Brand Leader – The Ritz-Carlton, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts: Link to the event: Clubhouse.

The resort has also introduced their Sangu podcasts’ Season 4, Episode 2: Future of Tourism in the Maldives on 23rd May 2021. The Sangu podcast series are created as the voice of the island, inspired by the ceremonial blowing of Sangu, conch shell, in the ancient Maldives to announce special news in the island communities.

Over the years, the tourism industry in the Maldives has become one of the leading destinations in the world and one of the global success stories in 2020. In their latest episode, the Minister of Tourism, Dr. Abdulla Mausoom was as a guest speaker.
