.Here Baa Atoll, Maldives has been named the No. 6 Resort in the Indian Ocean in the 2026 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards, adding another international accolade to the ultra-luxury private island retreat. The annual Readers’ Choice Awards recognise the destinations and travel experiences most valued by travellers, with votes from Condé Nast Traveler readers covering hotels, resorts, destinations, airlines and more.

The recognition places .Here Baa Atoll, Maldives among the Indian Ocean’s leading resorts and comes during a milestone year for the property. Located within the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Baa Atoll, .Here offers a private take on Maldivian luxury, with nine expansive residences spread across two natural islands, Somewhere and Nowhere.

At Somewhere, seven three- and four-bedroom residences stretch from beach to lagoon, creating extraordinary space for families and groups travelling together. Each residence combines generous indoor and outdoor living with multiple pools, private dining and intuitive Roohu service, while guests arrive directly at their residence by private speedboat, bypassing the traditional lobby and check-in experience. Condé Nast Traveler has previously highlighted the property’s emphasis on privacy, expansive beach-to-lagoon residences and discreet approach to luxury.

The experience extends to Nowhere Private Island, an entire island reserved exclusively for a single party. Designed as a world unto itself, Nowhere brings together an expansive five-bedroom Presidential Residence and three-bedroom Lagoon Residence, offering eight bedrooms and 3,329 square metres of private living space, complemented by dedicated service and experiences curated entirely around its guests.

The Readers’ Choice recognition follows a series of accolades for .Here Baa Atoll, Maldives in 2026. The retreat was selected for the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List 2026, with the publication highlighting its distinctive residences and design. It has also received international recognition for its architecture and design, alongside its creative collaborators Kulör Group, Muza Lab and Topo Design Studio.

Elina Adiyan, Resident Manager, said: “To be recognised by the readers of Condé Nast Traveler so early in our journey is incredibly meaningful. .Here was created around a simple idea: to give guests extraordinary space, genuine privacy and the freedom to experience the Maldives entirely on their own terms. This recognition belongs equally to our team, whose care and dedication bring that vision to life every day. We are deeply grateful to everyone who voted for us.”

The accolade reinforces .Here Baa Atoll’s growing presence on the international luxury travel landscape and reflects a philosophy where privacy, spatial generosity, considered design and deeply personal service come together in one of the Maldives’ most remarkable natural settings.
