Ifuru Island Maldives announces the appointment of Chef Preeti Bomzon as its Executive Chef, adding a wealth of culinary expertise to its distinguished team. With a career spanning over two decades, Chef Bomzon has achieved remarkable milestones. Her journey began at the prestigious Grand Hyatt New Delhi, where she commenced as an Operations Trainee in a pre-opening property. Her exposure to the intricacies of setting up a kitchen section, witnessing the hotel’s transformation, and her experiences in pre-opening projects and refurbishments cultivated her culinary repertoire, focusing on Mediterranean, Middle Eastern, and Indian cuisines.

In 2010, Chef Bomzon ventured into Vietnam, assuming the role of second-in-command at Six Senses Con Dao. During her tenure, she opened and refurbished notable properties, including a Minor property and Naman Retreat in Danang. Vietnam’s diverse culture, people, and culinary traditions profoundly influenced her culinary artistry, particularly those of Southeast Asia, Japan, and Vietnam.


With almost four years dedicated to the Maldives, Chef Bomzon’s passion for innovative cuisine thrives.
