Jorge Amaro Appointed General Manager at Innahura Maldives Resort

Jorge Manuel Soares Amaro has been appointed as General Manager of Innahura Maldives Resort, effective from 24^th January 2023.

Jorge has worked in various positions throughout his career journey in the hospitality field, from Hotel Manager to F&B Manager in multiple hotels in France, Portugal & Seychelles. He initially commenced his career in the Maldives as the Resident Manager at Beach House Collection for a short-term contract. He was appointed as Operations Manager at Rihiveli Beach Resort, Maldives in 2011. After that Jorge was offered the same position at Coco de Mer Resort in Seychelles in 2017. After that, he was offered the opportunity to work as the Resort Manager at AH & R Group Maldives in 2017 and then he was promoted to the position of General Manager in 2018, where he worked with the team until September 2022.

Jorge has over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In terms of academia, he graduated in Hotel Management from the Hotel and Tourism School of Lisbon in 2023.
