On 27th February 2022, Kuda Villingili Resort Maldives participated in Ocean 6|50 event held to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Maldives Tourism. On behalf of the resort their General Manager, Mr. Morgan Martinello, and Security, Loss & Preventions Manager, Mr. Mohamed Fawwaz, dived 6 meters for a dive event.
In the event, Maldivian technical diver Mr. Shafraz Naeem spent 50 hours underwater to raise awareness and advocate for a sustainable solution to tackle the issues of plastic pollution and the conservation of marine species and ecosystems in the Maldives.
Kuda Villingili Resort presented Mr. Shafraz Naeem an “Ocean Six Fifty Gift Voucher” while underwater. In this voucher, Mr. Shafraz is entitled to two night’s stay at the resort.
