Malaysia Airlines to Resume Flights to the Maldives

Malaysia Airlines has revealed plans to reinstate flights to the Maldives, marking a significant move in its efforts to broaden its reach in the leisure travel sector.

Set to commence on August 1, the airline will offer daily flights between Kuala Lumpur and Velana International Airport in the Maldives. With bookings currently available to prospective passengers, one-way tickets are priced at USD 200, while return tickets are offered at USD 299.

The reintroduction of flights to the Maldives comes as part of Malaysia Airlines’ strategy to tap into emerging leisure destinations. This announcement also includes the unveiling of two additional routes, namely Chiang Mai and Da Nang, reflecting the airline’s commitment to expanding its network and catering to diverse travel preferences.
