Milaidhoo Maldives, the award-winning private island resort, announced the appointment of Priscilla Guranna as the new Director of Marketing and Public Relations. With over 22 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, including 15 years in management roles, Priscilla brings a wealth of expertise and a fresh perspective to Milaidhoo’s marketing and public relations strategies.

Born and raised in Mauritius, hospitality has been an integral part of the life of Priscilla. She holds a degree in Tourism Management from the Hotel School of Mauritius and the University of Angers, France. Priscilla began her career in Mauritius within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sector at a Destination Management Company, during which time Mauritius was a premier incentive destination. These early experiences laid a robust foundation for her future endeavours. After seven years, she transitioned into the hotel sector, working with prestigious hotel groups in Mauritius and the Seychelles, such as Four Seasons Resort, Sun Resorts, Heritage Resorts and Kempinski Hotels. Her roles spanned both on-property and corporate levels, providing her with comprehensive insights into the multifaceted realms of sales and marketing.

In her new role at Milaidhoo, Priscilla will oversee the marketing and public relations efforts for the private island resort, which features 50 luxurious villas and a myriad of exceptional guest experiences. Reflecting on her new position, Priscilla shares, “My perception of the Maldives has evolved since my arrival. There are so many possibilities.
