Maldives Music Festival 2022 hosted by Radisson Blu Resort Maldives has successfully concluded.
The week-long festival took place from 12 to 19 November 2022, amidst rich culinary flavours and great music surrounded by the most breathtaking scenery on the planet. A relaxing retreat in a tropical heaven, where it was a dream come true for travellers to enjoy the vibrant party scenes.
The festival showcased live performances by internationally acclaimed DJs. The line-up included Apache (France) Facundo Mohrr (Argentina), Kasango (Africa), Maga (France), Radice (Italy), Sean Doron (Israel), Ale Rauen, Luiz Palma (Brazil), Persio Semeraro (Brazil), and Thiago Zancaner (Sharp Colours).
Held at the overwater Mahurab bar located on the lagoon of the island, a wide range of drinks, snacks and shisha were offered to the guests during the festival.
Speaking to TTM about the festival, organizer Mario Fischetti said “More than a music event, we want to deliver to our “islanders” a complete experience, in one of the most fantastic places on the planet, create new connections between people and show that their connection with everything that is real and is experienced outside the screen of a cell phone or the daily routine of each of them, in addition to being very culturally enriching, is unforgettable.”
The General Manager of Radisson Blu Resort Maldives, Gavin Sanders also said, “A wonderful event, a real Brazilian carnival atmosphere that brought the island to life, despite the weather challenges we faced. It lived up to all our expectations, exceptional parties, wonderful music food, and people . It was a celebration of life, and a reminder of all the good things we enjoyed before covid. Everyone here from customers to staff loved it, and I hope we can collaborate with the organizers on future projects together.”
Speaking about the upcoming events at the resort, Gavin also highlighted that “For now, it is World Cup fever, with nightly screenings and special events. Right after that we will have our festive program running through Christmas and into the New Year. We will also be celebrating Chinese New Year with special events for our guests, and we will be looking forward to making more music events during 2023.”
