Soneva Soul Becomes First Provider of Stem Cell Therapy in the Maldives

Soneva Soul, the esteemed wellness sanctuary, has marked a historic milestone by becoming the inaugural and exclusive provider of stem cell therapy in the Maldives. At the heart of this innovative methodology is the principle of ‘lifestyle evolution’, aimed at empowering guests to reach their optimal health and well-being.

By importing stem cells with prescriptions, Soneva Soul has elevated its array of bespoke health and wellness services. Operating with the necessary approvals from the Maldives Food and Drug Authority and upholding world-class standards, the resort is now able to provide targeted treatments and protocols using the power and potential of stem cells.

The stem cells used in their treatments are supplied by Sweden-based Cellcolabs, a biotech company that’s dedicated to increasing global access to stem cell treatments. Built on two decades of research at the Karolinska Institute in Sweden, they specialise in the high-quality production of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs).

This treatment sees stem cells injected into a target area, stimulating the body to repair damaged tissue and accelerate recovery.

Safely creating micro-channels to the skin’s surface helps deliver stem cells deeper into the skin layers to help regenerate and reveal smooth, refreshed skin with long-lasting results.

Stem cell infusions help reduce inflammation, promote tissue regeneration and improve immune function.

Stem cells can be used for various aesthetic purposes, including skin rejuvenation, reduction in scarring, improved collagen production and hair restoration.

Soneva Soul has a dedicated team of on-site doctors and therapists with international experience and expertise in stem cell treatments. They work closely with each guest to create an entirely bespoke pathway to true health and wellness. To ensure eligibility for any stem cell treatment, complimentary consultation with their Integrative Medical team is required.
