Tatabye Tours, recently awarded among one of the top producers for the Indian travel market at TTM Maldives 2023, organized a familiarization (FAM) trip involving 15 participants who visited 9 distinct properties over a span of 10 days. This FAM trip, which commenced on August 25th, marked a significant milestone for Tatabye as they previously hosted 13 individuals across eight properties in the preceding year.
Tatabye Tours, also known as Tatabye Maldives, maintains a notable presence in the Maldives market, serving both the Indian and Middle Eastern markets. Established nine years ago in South India, the company has established itself as one of the leading wholesalers for Maldivian resorts, boasting contracts with over 140 direct properties.
Mr. Roshan Jain, the Founder of Tatabye Tours, led the group which comprises of esteemed travel professionals from Dubai, Colombo, Maharashtra, Karnataka, New Delhi, and Tamil Nadu.
During their visit, the group explored various properties, including Hard Rock Hotel Maldives, SAii Lagoon Maldives, Sun Siyam Olhuveli, Kurumba Maldives, Velassaru, Centara Grand Island Resort & Spa, Villa Park, Siyam World, and Centara Ras Fushi Resort & Spa. They were able to experience the renowned hospitality of the Maldives and engage in unique activities such as whale shark snorkeling, dolphin cruises, sunset cruises, and a diverse array of cuisines at these hosted locations.
The primary objective of this trip was to raise awareness in the market about the Maldives’ post-pandemic recovery as a destination, as well as to showcase the distinctive products and experiences it offers to visitors.
Upon their return, the participating travel agents will be better equipped to promote Maldives holidays with precision and dedication, having personally experienced the quality of products and service standards. This endeavor aligns with Tatabye Tours’ overarching mission to organize familiarization trips for travel agents worldwide.
