When the Island Blooms: Celebrate Christmas at Adaaran Resorts

Adaaran Resorts is set to bring the festive season to life across Adaaran Club Rannalhi, Adaaran Select Meedhupparu and Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi, transforming the islands into vibrant festive settings inspired by the colours, traditions and marine life of the Maldives.

This festive season, pathways will glow with light, trees will shimmer and ocean-inspired installations will create a distinctive island atmosphere across the resorts. With a programme of Kids Club activities, creative workshops and family-friendly experiences, younger guests will also have plenty to enjoy throughout the festive period.

Across the three resorts, guests can look forward to ocean adventures, beach games, family activities, festive dining and island experiences during the day, followed by evenings filled with music, celebrations, glowing gardens, beachfront gatherings and entertainment.

Adaaran Club Rannalhi

At Adaaran Club Rannalhi, the festive season will bring a lively celebration to the island, with the resort glowing from December into January. The programme will combine music, firelight, cocktails, family activities and traditional festive celebrations. Highlights include a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, followed by Christmas Eve celebrations featuring Santa’s cocktails, live carols, Santa’s arrival, a gala dinner, music, animation dance and a live fire show. Guests can also enjoy Christmas Day and New Year’s Day Champagne Brunches at the Main Restaurant.

Festive ocean experiences will include sunrise cruises, dolphin safaris, island hopping and sunset fishing, while beachside celebrations will feature Seafood BBQ Dinners, Bonfire Beach Parties, live music, DJ nights and cultural performances. New Year’s Eve will bring Rannalhi in Bloom, featuring pre-dinner cocktails, a beachfront gala dinner, entertainment, the Rannalhi Queen Contest, lucky draw gifts, a countdown and fireworks. The resort will also host an Orthodox Christmas Eve Celebration with festive cocktails, live music, a beachside gala dinner, fire show and late-night beach party.

Adaaran Select Meedhupparu

At Adaaran Select Meedhupparu, the festive season will create a vibrant island setting with glowing pathways, shimmering trees and warm light installations inspired by the ocean. The celebrations will begin with a Christmas Tree Lighting by the beach, accompanied by festive snacks, cocktails, mulled wine and champagne. Christmas Eve Magic will offer a moonlit celebration inspired by Maldivian island legends, navigators, fishermen and ocean journeys.

Guests can take part in festive ocean adventures including dolphin cruises, snorkelling safaris, sunset jet ski experiences, a family ocean adventure and an ultimate ocean pass. Dining experiences will include Lobster Beach Barbecue, Maldivian Seafood Masterclass, 21-Course Progressive Dinner, Tree House Dinner, Seven-Course Modern Gastronomy Dinner and Chef’s Table – Indian Ocean Edition. Private experiences will include Sandbank Festive Lunch & High Tea, Floating Champagne Breakfast, Private Cinema Under the Stars and Romantic Sandbench Dinner.

The New Year’s Eve Extravaganza will be inspired by ancient island fire ceremonies, with cocktails, gala dining, DJ entertainment, a countdown, fire show and fireworks. An Orthodox Festive Dinner will also feature beachside grills, seafood, lobster and live duo music.

Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi

At Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi, Christmas will arrive with colour, movement and a lively island atmosphere. The resort’s festive calendar will feature beachfront dining, sunset gatherings, Christmas traditions, New Year celebrations, games and activities for families, friends and travellers. The programme will begin with Christmas Tree Lighting and cocktails, followed by Santa’s Arrival, including a special photo session, festive carols and family moments by the beach.

Christmas Eve Dinner and Seaside Party will feature a festive buffet, dancers and island beats beneath glowing lights, while Christmas Lunch and Christmas Night Entertainment will include live saxophone and DJ performances. Festive dining will include Barefoot Island BBQ Dinner, Shark View Dinner, Garden Seafood Set Dinner, Lobster & Champagne BBQ Dinner and Beach BBQ Dinner. Guests can also enjoy beach parties, pool challenges, football, bocce, beach volleyball and music quizzes.

For younger guests, the Koamas Kids Club will offer a festive programme featuring crafts, games, cupcake decorating, pizza making, treasure hunts and creative island activities. The celebrations will continue into New Year’s Eve with a Royal Gala Dinner Buffet and Show featuring dancers, music, fireworks and a beachfront countdown into 2027. An Orthodox Christmas Celebration will also be held with festive dining and island hospitality.
