Agoda, one of the world’s fastest-growing travel platforms, has promoted Mohamed Amaan, the Country Manager for the Maldives, to also oversee operations in Mauritius and Seychelles.
With over 12 years of experience at Agoda, Amaan has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic insight. He first joined Agoda in 2012 as an Assistant Market Manager and has successfully grown through various roles at Agoda, showing his expertise in market management and business development.
Prior to joining Agoda, Amaan worked as the Marketing and Promotions Manager at Villa Hotels and Resorts, where he gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry. Amaan holds an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire in the UK, along with an Honors Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Taylor’s University in Malaysia.
In his new role, Amaan will oversee the company’s operations not just in the Maldives but also in Mauritius and Seychelles, playing a key role in ensuring continued growth and success across these markets.
