Rossiya Airlines have confirmed a flight on 29th April 2020, whereas Air Cairo has confirmed a flight on 30th April 2020 on board from Velana International Airport.
In a circular released by the Tourism Ministry, all passengers flying onboard Rossiya flight FV/SDM 6266 0n 29th April and Air Cairo flight SM2051/2 on 30th April, are kindly reminded that the Maldives Police Service will only permit vessels/ vehicles carrying passengers with confirmed tickets. official documents from their respective locations to the airport.
Ministry further requests all resorts, guesthouses and island councils to cooperate with the Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Tourist Police to extend all the necessary assistance to the passengers in reaching the airport.
