Raised on tough soul music and gutsy rock, Jimmy Barnes is known as a true legend of music. His career both as a solo performer and as the lead vocalist with the rock band Cold Chisel has made him one of the most popular and best-selling Australian music artists of all time. The combination of 14 Australian Top 40 albums for Cold Chisel and 13 charting solo albums, including nine No. 1s, gives Barnes the highest number of hit albums of any Australian artist.

During his last show at Kandooma on September 6th, the singer performed his all-time favorites including ‘When the War is Over’, ‘Lover Lover’, ‘When a Man Loves a Woman’ and ‘Working Class Man’.

Located in the South Male, 40 minutes by speedboat from the main Velana International Airport, the 32-acre Kandooma Maldives resort features spectacular architecture inspired by sea barnacles. The property offers rooms built around the edge or on the water such as Beach View Villas, Seaview Beach Houses, Family Beach Houses and Seaview Overwater Bungalows.

Featuring the largest children’s facility in the Maldives — the Kandoo Kids Club which has an outdoor splash pool — and daily activities coupled with the “Kids Stay & Eat Free” programme makes this the perfect retreat for family travelers.
