Coco Collection, Maldives Appoints Ahmed Mauroof As Assistant Director of Sales

Coco Collection, Maldives has appointed Ahmed Mauroof as Assistant Director of Sales for the luxury resort group.

Maldivian-born and bred, Mauroof started out in the hospitality industry in 2007 as a Marketing Executive at Coco Collection before being promoted to Senior Marketing Executive, where he took part in sales and marketing efforts of the brand resorts in key source markets. With a keen aptitude on sales, he went on to work as Business Development Manager before being promoted to his current role as Assistant Director of Sales.

Having joined soon after the launch of the Coco Collection brand, he remains one of the key members driving the sales and marketing of the resorts, significantly involved in developing businesses in key markets.

In his new role as Assistant Director of Sales, Mauroof will be playing a critical role in developing new sales strategies across key markets in response to the current landscape of the hospitality industry.

Mauroof is a seasoned professional with extensive network and travel experience and holds a BA in Marketing and Tourism Management from Victoria University, Australia, and a MA in Marketing from Durham University, UK.
