South Asian Travel Awards begins its countdown for the prestigious 4th Annual SATA Gala & Awards Event which is scheduled to be held on the 19th and 20th September 2019 at Amari Galle, Sri Lanka. The event is held as a retreat with SATA Conversations, Grand Gala and Celebration. The leading travel, tourism and hospitality Winners will be announced on the Grand Gala.
South Asian Travel Awards (SATA) was launched in 2016 with the intention to provide brands across the region’s travel and hospitality industry with a credible platform to be recognized for their outstanding achievements. SATA has received immense support from regional hospitality brands and organizations, as the brand is the very first celebrating the best of the region.
With over 700 nominations in SATA 2019, the brand has hosted its Gala’s during previous years in Mount Lavinia Hotel – Sri Lanka, Equator Village – Maldives and at The Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. They have participants from 6 Destinations namely; India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal and Maldives having endorsements from more over 15 Travel Industry Organizations and National Tourism Bodies.
